The Imperial Emigration Officer was a type of officer in the Galactic Empire that was tasked with establishing control on major spaceports throughout the galaxy. The Emigration Officers monitored and restricted the traffic of individuals, and seized suspected dissidents before they spread the fires of rebellion.

Zuzanu Latt was an Imperial Navy Trooper who served the Galactic Empire. Stationed in Coronet City, she was in charge of regulating the traffic of the passengers leaving Corellia when Han was forced into the ranks of the Galactic Empire.
