LEGO® Cannon with Cannon Base

The LEGO® Cannon accessory consists of two pieces: the Cannon Base 2 x 4 (part# 2527), and the Minifig Weapon, Cannon (part number varies on selection).

There are several different color bases and four variants of cannon. Choose which options you like!

"Shooting" Variant: With the exception of a few early sets (roughly before 1990), the only sets to include the original dark gray shooting cannon were those produced for sale outside of North America.

"Non-shooting" Variant: This cannon consists of a single molded piece and was included in most sets sold in North America. Sets sold prior to roughly 1991 contained the shooting cannon, while sets sold during a brief part of the early 1990s contained a disabled version of the shooting cannon.

"Transitional" Variant: This cannon is a disabled version of the shooting cannon and was included in sets sold in North America after the shooting cannon stopped being included, but before the mold for the non-shooting cannon was produced.
